This band is truly an extraordinary creation. The combination of inventive drumming, overlapped with amazing, complex and creative guitar licks, and not to mention awesome bass, create a sound unmatched by anything I have ever encountered. With elements of punk, metal, emo, and straight up rock, Coheed And Cambria have a style all their own. With incredibly complex and intelligent lyrics, C&C will amaze you, and most likely have you studying the sleeve of this record trying unrelentlessly to learn the words and sing along to their captivating melodies. One of my new favorite records, “The Second Stage Turbine Blade,” will grow on you like a tumor, but you’ll never want to be rid of this amazing album.
