NOFX

I was wandering around backstage at the Warped Tour when I finally saw him. It was Fat Mike. He was with Melvin, and they were talking to some people and eating dinner. I just stood there like a deer in headlights, in an attempt to muster up the courage to talk with him. Although I had met him four years prior, I'll have to admit, I was a little starstruck. Then finally he started walking towards me. "Hey Mike," I said as I extended my hand. We shook hands and I said, "nice to meet you." I can't remember what he said, I was just hoping my hand wasn't all sweaty! I handed him a flyer, and told him who I was. He looked at the flyer. "Belchin' Waffles?" he said. And then, something hapened that I never would have expected. He started cracking up! He handed the flyer to Melvin, and now they both were cracking up. I asked him, "I know you don't usually do this, but would you be willing to answer five questions for our 'zine?" I expected no. Thoughts swirled inside my head. I can't even believe I asked, everyone knows NOFX doesn't do interviews. Who do I think I am? "Yeah, just walk with me. I gotta go get my drink on" he said. I couldn't believe my ears. I started to walk with him (I hope I wasn't skipping!). And the rest is history. Here it is, the very exclusive Belchin' Waffles interview with Fat Mike from NOFX!

Ok, if you were going to be stranded on a desert island, and you could only bring three CDs, and three other things, what would you bring?
That's almost like six questions! I'd bring Randy's CD from Sweden, I'd bring the first Bad Religion album, and oh shit... the White Album by the Beatles. I'd bring my wife, is she a thing? I'd bring our trunk of her sexiest leather and latex clothes, and uh... pasta.

Would you rather never have sex again, or have sex once with a hippo?
What do you mean by hippo?

A hippopotamus.
I'd never have sex again.

If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be?
Uh...Pink.

What's the absolute craziest thing that's ever happened on a NOFX tour?
People started liking us.

How do you feel about MP3s, and people listening to music on the Internet?
It's fine. It will kill the music industry, but that's ok with me.
